A payout on Eiger can be requested once per payout window, and only when eight conditions are all true at that moment. They are listed under Payout conditions on the trading rules page, and this article takes them in the order the page gives them, with one funded account as the running example.
Key takeaways
- Every request needs profit of at least 10% of the account size, counted from activation, then from the last payout.
- All eight conditions must hold at once. Meeting seven is not enough.
- Open positions block a request. Close everything first.
- Every request is reviewed against the trade history, and profit from prohibited strategies is deducted.
The example account
A €50,000 funded account, opened after passing a 1-Step Challenge. The reward on every Eiger program is 80% of the profit generated on the Simulated Demo Trading Account, set at purchase and fixed for the life of the account. The account is a digital product, not a financial one, and results on it vary: most traders do not make a profit. The figures below are arithmetic to show how the conditions work, not a forecast.
| Account size | €50,000 | Funded, activated on day 0. |
|---|---|---|
| Profit needed per request | €5,000 | 10% of the account size. |
| Reward on €5,000 | €4,000 | 80% of the simulated profit. |
| Largest allowed single day | €2,500 | 50% of €5,000, if total profit is exactly €5,000. |
Conditions 1 to 3: profit, activity and consistency
At least 10% in profit. The account has to be at least 10% of its size in profit, "measured from activation for the first payout and from the last payout after that." On €50,000 that is €5,000 before the first request, and again €5,000 counted from the last payout before each request after that. The bar does not drop after the first payout.
At least 5 trading days and 5 closed trades on the account. A trading day, as the rules page defines it, is a distinct UTC calendar day on which a trade was closed or a position was open. Five trades opened and closed on one Monday give you 5 trades but 1 trading day. A position held from Monday into Tuesday counts both days. The details and edge cases are in five trading days and five trades.
No single day more than 50% of total profit. With €5,000 of profit, no day may have made more than €2,500. If one day made €3,000, the request has to wait until total profit is at least €6,000. This is the one condition that never fails the account: it only holds the request back until profit is spread across more days. The 50% consistency rule works through this with losing days included.
Conditions 4 and 5: a clean account at the moment you ask
All positions closed at the time of the request. The account has to be flat when you press request. If a position is still running, close it first and then check that the other conditions still hold on the closed result.
No open or pending rule violations. The rules page does not define "pending" further. If you are not sure whether something on your account is still open, ask support before you request. A confirmed breach fails the account anyway, as explained in what happens when you breach.
Conditions 6 to 8: time, identity and the PAYP balance
The payout window has to be open. The first request is possible 14 days after the funded account opens. Each request after that opens 18 days after the previous request. The calendar, and what "released immediately" means, are covered separately in the 14 then 18 day payout cycle.
Identity verification (KYC) completed before the first payout. The rules page puts it as "Identity verification must be completed before the first payout is released." It is a one-time condition tied to the first payout. KYC before your first payout has what the site says about it.
On Pay After You Pass, the rest of the fee has been paid. In practice this is already true on any funded Pay After You Pass account, because the funded account opens only once the rest is paid. On that program the first reward also returns the amount paid at checkout, which is explained in checkout amount refunded with the first reward.
The review, and the one deduction
Every request is reviewed against the trade history. The page names one outcome of that review: "Profit generated through prohibited strategies is deducted from the payable amount." The prohibited strategies are the four on the rules page (trades under 3 seconds, more than 5 positions on one symbol, more than 3 size-ups in a row after a loss, and same-symbol hedging), and each of them also breaches the account.
Once a request is approved, Eiger releases it immediately. How long the money takes to arrive depends on your bank or the crypto network, and the site does not publish an arrival time.
Check all eight on the closed account before you press request.
The example, run as a checklist
Day 20 on the €50,000 account. Closed profit is €5,000 over 7 trading days and 11 closed trades. The best day made €2,000. Nothing is open, nothing is under review, KYC was completed last week, and the program is the 1-Step Challenge.
| 10% profit | Yes | €5,000 meets the €5,000 bar. |
|---|---|---|
| 5 days, 5 trades | Yes | 7 days, 11 trades. |
| 50% rule | Yes | €2,000 is below half of €5,000. |
| Positions closed | Yes | Nothing open. |
| No open violations | Yes | Nothing under review. |
| Window open | Yes | Day 20 is past day 14. |
| KYC | Yes | Completed. |
| PAYP balance | n/a | Not a Pay After You Pass account. |
The request can go in. At 80%, the reward on the €5,000 of simulated profit would be €4,000, before any deduction from the review.
Frequently asked questions
How much profit do I need to request a payout?
At least 10% of the account size on every request, measured from activation for the first payout and from the last payout after that. On a €50,000 account that is €5,000 each time.
Can I request a payout with a trade still open?
No. All positions must be closed at the time of the request. This is one of the payout conditions on the trading rules page.
Do I need KYC for every payout?
The rules page says identity verification must be completed before the first payout is released. It is listed as a condition for the first payout.
Can part of a payout be taken away?
Yes, in one case the site names. Every request is reviewed against the trade history, and profit generated through prohibited strategies is deducted from the payable amount.
Read the rules, then pick a program
Every rule that can fail an account is published in full before you pay. Three programs, five sizes, an 80% reward and no time limit on any step.
